2024 COMPETITION CATEGORIES

The festival accepts films/videos in the following genres:

  • Dramatic Feature 

  • Dramatic Short

  • Comedy 

  • Comedy Short 

  • Documentary Feature

  • Documentary Short

  • LGBT

  • Animation

  • Christian and Music Video 


Festival programming staff may use their discretion to place your film in the appropriate category.

Thank you to everyone who submitted their films for the 2024 Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival. Submissions for this year are now officially closed.

For those interested in submitting for next year, please stay tuned and check back in the coming months for the 2025 submission dates.

Every year we accept films and stories that celebrate and resonate with our audience we encourage local national and international participation all accepted entries will be notified by July 31st.
